Self-healing SHCC with bacteria

Self Healing Concrete should be used in those areas of a concrete structure where it is most effective. Within the SMARTINCS project Shan He is developing a self-healing cover zone for concrete elements. He uses the self healing agent of Basilisk together with SHCC. A paper on this concept is published in Engineering Fracture Mechanics.
