Prof. En-Hua Yang from NTU (Singapore) visting us

Professor En-Hua Yang is visiting us this week from NTU in Singapore. He gave an inspiring lecture on "Characterisation and modification of interface transition zone in high performance fiber-reinforced concrete". He also took part in the PhD-defence of Shan He.

ZDF-tv-program on self-healing concrete

Tomorrow February 15th, there will be a TV-show on German TV (ZDF) that is dealing with Self-healing concrete. In the program you can see some shots that we took inside our lab, outside at the construction site of the tram-project at the campus and also at the premisses of Basilisk (where they produce the self-healing agent with Bacteria).

Senot Sangadji inaugurated as full professor

Today Senot Sangadji was inaugurated as full professor at the Universiy Sebelas Maret in Indonesia. Senot finished his PhD in our group in 2015 on self-healing concrete by making use of porous networks to transport healing agents in concrete structural elements.
